The seller is most likely a fellow arcade buff like the rest of us, who has fallen on hard times has to sell off a piece of his childhood, so his kids can have the supplies they need for school, gets no respect.

Meanwhile the buyer is going to get an arcade game cheap and won't appreciate it's true value so it either becomes a condo for mice or gutted for MAME.
