I figured at the very least while I wait for my controls to arrive from the real bob roberts website, I can see if the 1 player coin start works.
Only thing is, I can't remember which wires are needed to start it. I've got the Coin Door wires off the Jamma Harness labeled and ready, but I seem to remember there where two wires needed to start player one and player to. One was the coin door which was attached to the coin slot, and I can't for the life of me seem to remember what the other one was. I've been touching wire prongs together for a few minutes now trying to see if it'll trigger the magic 'Lets Kick Shell' words of a game start, heh.
BTW, after we had a former arcade repair guy check out an issue, here is the newly repaired setup. We ditched the two transformers which where apparently hindering the startup process, I detached the Interlock switch so it's now always on when plugged in, and I took an old Speaker wire from a PC speaker system that just happened to have an RCA cable attached to the end of it. Now I can plug it in to any TV in the house.
Once my controls get here, we'll be building some kind of enclosure to house the thing and make it portable for the power supply and three boards. The ONLY problem i can see now, is how to hide the control wires so it doesn't look so ugly. Right now i've got them taped up with scotch tape so they are at least secured in one place and arn't moving around.
