Hi,

I've got an old PVM-2530 that I'm looking to de-case to put into my arcade project but I'm deathly afraid of opening it up to get it in. Is there anyone in the Vancouver, BC (Canada) area who knows how to discharge these things who'd be willing to help me out.

A pack of beer is up for grabs for anyone who can help.

Thanks,

Hoplite

You can open up the case to see what's inside without any danger of touching anything.  If you look inside and get scared, no worries...just put the screws back in and wait for a reply.  I decased a PC monitor and it turned out there was a metal cage inside so there was no concern.
