I bought something similiar: FC Mobile2.

It is pretty sweet (Especially since it comes with two wireless controllers and Zapper). It can hook up to a TV which is great -- and essential for the zapper to work.

I was a little disappointed with the quality of the wireless controllers, but the zapper worked amazingly well.

Overall, it is pretty cool.

A lot of these crammed-down portables are great, going back to the Game Axe and others from a few years ago - the downside is having those whacking great cartridges sticking out. I love portable retro gaming but I much prefer practicality. Until it died about a year ago, I loved my overclocked N-Gage which had some great games and a couple of decent-spec emulators. I've moved on since then and recently picked up the best mobile retro-gaming platform - a PSP - following the infinite delays of the Pandora and design issues of the GP2X Wiz.

I advise anyone after a mobile retro gaming device to get one, update the custom firmware and get a fat memory card for it - I got boatloads of games all on one system, including my PSX rips. Thanks to the native Sony hardware, it plays converted PSX games without needing regular emulation, so I've got the entire Final Fantasy series to keep me going on the move.

I REALLY want one of these but emulation has me spoiled.. Do I really want a bunch of carts all over the place that I have to blow on just to get them to play?   YES I DO!!  ;D

I have the black/red Retro Duo, and I love it. Very seldom do I have to blow on my NES cartridges (yeah I know you're not really supposed to, but it works) and the SNES always starts right up.

The only problem I've had was the S-video cable weirded out and would only display grayscale on NES games. Switching to RCA fixed it.

None of my friends grasp my devotion to Megaman rather than Halo, I'm sure that's common among many of us here :dunno
