Hmmm....$30 non-working Arabian cab - Tucson
« on: August 03, 2009, 12:04:38 am »
Not mine. I just looked in CL today for the ---fudgesicle--- of it. Cute game. (That cab so sayd Centipede or Kangaroo to me.) Probably worth it for a collector. I may pick this up for shits an giggles, I dunno. Couple of people already interested, so we'll see whether I get a call back.

Go for it. It's not a very good game, but its a nice looking cabinet for the art.
NO MORE!!

Sun Electronics era was a dark time in Atari arcade history.

To each his own I guess. I think Arabian is a really fun game, and I like the background music on it too :) Local arcade had one of them BITD.

Wrong cabinet for a Centipede, but it could be converted to a Dig Dug or Kangaroo with no one being the wiser. But then converting it to Kangaroo would be trading one Sun Electronics game with a bad reputation for another. Dig Dug is a widely liked/respected game though.

I like Kangaroo, far more than Dig Dug any day. And though the music sound quality disappointed me back in the day, I've come to accept and even enjoy it. Arabian's okay, but up around the fourth screen, how it handles maneuvering in combination with the flying rugs pisses me off.
