High quality CNC'd cocktail cabinets in the US?
« on: July 21, 2009, 06:46:17 pm »
Anyone make 'em, especially with assembly left up to the buyer?  I have a friend that wants to know.  I know Franco's are awesome. . .looking for something like that but without the UK->US shipping. :)

EDIT: If near Folsom, CA, he may want to check out

I've got 100's of panels for kits, most have just minor chipping or scratches. If you are willing to come dig through them you are free to put together your own kit for free.

Lots of cocktail arcades, some controls (i.e. wood control panel boxes not actual controls) a few upright arcades as well.

E-mail support@dreamarcades.com or stop by 805 Reading St Unit B Folsom CA 95630. 10am to 4pm - one per customer

Whatever is left by Friday is getting thrown out.

Thanks.  I figured that might be some folks on here that do work like that directly that aren't yet on the wiki.  (Is Franco on there?)

Besides the free panels we currently have we do some custom work as well. Our standard stuff is high quality, everything is 3/4 inch West coast board.

Have you guys done them for two player with a player on each side for horizontal orientation games (ie. Space Duel-style)?  I think he is contemplating putting Space-Duel guts in a cocktail cabinet.  I suspect there is a 19-inch vector monitor involved.

Thanks!
Gary

I just ordered a cocktail cab from arcadedepot.com and it's very high quality work - they'll basically customize anything you'd like, you just have to ask them. They did some fan holes and custom control panels for me, really good work.

If you are referring to me I think you must have me mixed up with someone else. I'm a CNC machinist but I (sadly) don't have access to any wood cutting CNC tools (one day!! :))

Another mention for Arcadedepot. Have had three cocktail kits shipped to Ireland from them. Top quality, easy to assemble and should last years.
