PSX Arcade CPs with Xbox360
« on: July 18, 2009, 03:04:45 pm »
I have several arcade cps with cheap third-party PSX1 pad hacks, which I use for PC, PS2 and Dreamcast. I guess many of you also use the the same kind of hacking. Now, I'm considering buying a XBOX360. However, I', not buying the console until I'm sure I can use my control panels with it. I've found a very expensive adapter, which let's you use PS2 pads, as well as PC controllers, keyboard, mouse, etc. Will my third-party PSX pads work? Has this adaptor any lag? An alternative solution would be hacking a Xbox360 pad and include this inside my control panel. Would a switch be necessary or could I just do a double wiring of all the microswitches for both pads?
