Simple P360 Q
« on: July 09, 2003, 09:36:17 pm »
Hey you know when you have to compress the P360 1/8" to get the e-clip on, do you just put the joystick together and then push down on it?

Well before i Fried my P360s I would put the bushing on the shaft, then the spring then put the shaft through the base, the collar around the shaft and push down on the shaft and get that e-ring on then.  The shaft should have to compress to get to the e-ring to come out the other end of the collar.

Well i am putting together a new CP and i hooked up the 360s.  I was getting weird results.  So i wrote into Andy and i told him.  Based on all the inputs as coming up 0 V, he said i have the GRD and +5 switched, even though it was clearly marked.  So i swapped them and they worked perfectly!  For two days...  I brought it home from work (was doing some wiring there...) and now they don't work.  I switched back to the correct wiring and i am getting the same weird results (what seems to be over sensitivity and none of the inputs working correctly), but when i switch them back to the reverse order, nothing happens anymore.  I don't know what to do... So i guess i am going to have to eat those puppies.

That's how I did it.  I have 2 360's and 2 supers.  It was much easier to get the e-ring on the supers because you did not have to do the pushing.
