R-89 credits never wind down.
« on: July 13, 2009, 10:58:21 am »
I bought an R-89 with 255 credits showing on the "selections made" display. Problem being, the selections never wind down they stay at 255. Also, the juke is obviously set for free play, even when I attempt to put a coin in it does not register, the money register meter activates though. The bill acceptor does not operate either, will not even take in the bill. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi,

You need to enter into the progamming mode.

Put the service switch into service.
Press the popular button and hold whist typing in 000. you should see three lines.
Press popular and 2 and 7. you should be in location 27 and the display will show if on free play 255.
Type in 0 and then press popular, you should now be in location 28

To exit the progamming mode hold the reset button for 2 seconds, then type 99999.
