I bet it got used by the "staff" more than by MJ.  I see exit and handicap signs, was this accessible by the public?

All that was auctioned off several months ago. I keep saying, his death was "assisted". He had nothing to live for after selling off this awesome collection.  ;D
NO MORE!!

I cannot believe that place.

The page is awesome, its amazing how you can click to other partitions of the arcade & then explore even more.......its like the arcade just keeps growing.

That is one of the best posts Ive seen here, very nice.

I think this was only a partial auction. I remember hearing that never land cost upwards of a mill a month just in operational costs.

I understood the auction was cancelled. Bruno (DarthNuno) here had ordered the catalog for the auction that featured the 360 amongst others...:

(Amazingly) you can still browse through the catalogue right here:

When I saw the pinballs it crossed my mind that Stern should strike a deal to do a MJ pinball NOW !

One could make a VP table with grunts, screams, and Hee Hee!

Must be nice to be able to stock a full scale arcade with your spare change...  Yeah, saw this on the news, this looks like the facility where the auction was to take place.  MJ canceled it at the last minute back before, uh, well...

Bet lots of kids had fun there.

Baddasstry. Jacko loved him some Star Wars.
You probably remember me from such films as `The Revenge of Abe Lincoln' and `The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West'

Woulda been nice to have bought something at auction, shame I'm in the UK. Would be even better now as it would probably be worth more.

I would have had both those Crazy Taxi cabs - I love that game!

Wow do you think he actually individually picked/selected all those pieces for his arcade or had someone else do it based on his "vision"?

I would love to have that Han Solo encased in carbonite.............checks e-bay............damn, found it.  Someone buy this for me?  http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Life-Size-Han-Solo-In-Carbonite-Over-6_W0QQitemZ350055352786QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5180ecc9d2&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

Wow 5 grand!

A friend of a friend bought one of those 8 years ago for 2 grand.  He lost his job a month later and I remember me and another friend made jokes at his expense because he said it was an "investment".  The guy said it was a deal since they were only going to make X number of these things.  It had a # of # plate on it.

It was just fiberglass.  All the weight comes from a wooden support inside of the mold.  Even the control panel on the thing was part of the fiberglass mold.  I though (and still think) it's ridiculous.

For 2(now 5) grand I'd want the control panel to have blinking lights and pushable buttons.
