does anyone have measurements for this kind of cp
« on: July 08, 2003, 10:41:03 pm »
I want the standard Capcom sf configuration however I want an extra button for nego style games and I'm not exactly sure where it need to be placed in relation to joystick and other buttons. I know I want it so below and next to the joystick. Does anyone have the exact measurements of where it should be placed?

Ok I know this isn't exactly what you asked for, but I tried a bunch of different layouts and this is what I settled on.  I've found that as long as the buttons are close together it's all about personal feel.  Everyone's got their own layout, and my reasoning is this:  1)I wanted something that was a good compromise between neogeo and capcom layouts 2) emphasis on neogeo games curvy layout 3)capcom must feel somewhat natural

wiring is like this:
456
1234  so there is minimal controller hassling.  for 6 player games it switches to this:
123
4561  (uses SirP's buttonx.ini hack)

It's a decent compromise.  Just something to consider.
