SK Jukebox Help
« on: June 25, 2009, 11:47:18 pm »
Hello All,

I'm primarily an E-Touch guy, but I have put SK Jukebox on a jukebox (pics to follow soon!) that uses buttons. I made a personal challenge to make a jukebox out of parts I already had and under $100.00. So far, so good!

My SK Jukebox question is:

How do you get the videos to show up?  :dunno

I hear the audio, but dont see any video. I know SK Jukebox is a program from the past and is no longer supported, but it works great for a push button jukebox.

Any thoughts about how to make the videos show up?

Thanks in Advance,

If I remember correctly only a certain format plays. I don't remember if it has to be .wmv or .avi. By the way what version are you using.

Thanks for the help!

I found out that only .wmv works for video so now I am currently converting about 100 videos from mp4 to wmv.

I'm using 4.1 the last build. Seems to work flawlessly so far!

Pics coming soon!

I remember the programmer of Sk-Jukebox leaved the project not long after the video support. Avi should been supported too, and even my own software, MultiFE can use same button layout as Sk-Jukebox in MultiFE's Jukebox GUI interface, which was a tribute to the great Sk-Jukebox application (I my self also like the minimal interface fell). Hovover no support for normal music vidoes, but only cdg's and emumovies is supported.

Kodus with your button based project and with Sk-Jukebox :-D software.

I have myself only used Sk-Jukebox for music which the app is very great and nice interface.

Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.
