I Still Need Help
« on: June 24, 2009, 11:05:10 pm »
I've been attempting to get answers to questions concerning the Opti-Wiz PCB to no avail.

So after some thinking, I was wondering if there were any important differences between the Opti-Wiz and the Tornando spinner I have considering all I want to do is create a control panel with a spinner, two buttons on the left, and one on the right. I thought that I'd just be able to use the keyboard for "coin" and "start".

I ask because someone told me that "if you only have 3 buttons to work with, coin and start will end up being shared with playing buttons and it could cause tons of credits to pile up in gameplay."

If this is something I have to be concerned about I'd appreciate it if someone could elaborate on the problem or make suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

you can use keyboard no problem.
I had a cab set up (MS PAC) and admin buttons were set up inside of cab.
Open coin door and there they were.
I have read other have set the coin return button to a micro switch as coin or start
The options are up to your imagination.
you could eve toss in a game pad. use game pad as administration keys.
or put buttons on the top of cab
