of Homer Simpson's greatest day ever to anyone else?
You probably remember me from such films as `The Revenge of Abe Lincoln' and `The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West'

It's really hard to tell what they are in such a small photo. Are they donuts?

I seem to remember liking crystal pepsi. Of course, I liked ANY pop other than Chocolate Faygo.

Where I live, we have to import Faygo. Damn ICP for making me aware of that cheap, awesome soda!

I thought it was decent, but I'll take a regular Pepsi any day.

I actually kinda liked the Miller Chill stuff and now I see they're advertising it on TV again.

Just tried this the other nite, and the Budlite Lime, thought both were actually pretty good!

I give up...I really wanted to find and post the clip from the Simpsons episode 'Homer the Heretic' in which Homer is thinking about the best days of his life. the first is him marrying Marge. The next is an overturned Duff Beer truck spraying beer in the air like a fountain with Homer in his underwear running and dancing in said fountain.

Supposedly Crystal Pepsi is pure psychology . . .  the only thing lacking was caramel *color*,  nothing that would affect taste, but we have cola=brown so ingrained into our heads that it just didn't work.

Yeah...it sure did have a different flavor.

If you drunk it out of a can,  how could you tell the color anyway (or did it only come in a bottle...can't remember)?

When I was a kid, I was in a Crystal Pepsi test market.  Coke caught wind of it and shot the price of Coca Cola Classic through the roof, resulting in tons of Crystal Pepsi sales... which convinced Pepsi to license some Van Halen music and roll that stuff nationwide.

And we all know how THAT went....

 :laugh2:

Nah, how? (I can guess, badly....no, no pun there!)

Pepsi just blows. Always did. It's for those sugar-hungry kids, whereas Coke actually had some flavour (spelling intended). And that's Coke-Coke. None o those other nasty spin-offs (although I admit to drinking cherry coke, for some sordid spell, in high school. I repented.)
Yo. Chocolate.

Here in the US, Pepsi just started making Retro-Pepsi and Retro-Mt Dew. They are sweetening it with actual sugar now instead of corn syrup! They quit using sugar in the mid 80's as corn syrup was much cheaper.

I dont drink soda, so I cant tell you which one is better  :dunno

I'm ashaed to admit I bought some of the BL Lime a few weeks ago, and its not terrible.  Considering its competing with Corona / Corona lite and add your own lime, that's not saying a ton, but  :dunno  I do like a good light mexican lager with a lime now and again.

The best Soda drink Ive ever had in my Life, was in Taiwan.

A company called  "Le Tea"  sells a drink called  "Melon".

As soon as you open the cap,  you get a Very strong whiff of green melon.

Its lightly carbonated..   sweet, smooth.. and addictive.   I miss it so much    :'(
Im considering trying to arrange a shipment   >.<

There are some other green melon sodas sold in some of the Asian markets
around here.. but they taste nothing like  Le Tea's  version.   Probably because
they are more sugar based... where as Le Tea uses real melon.

The stuff is Heaven in a bottle.

=== Product Description from Website ===

Le Tea - Melon Soda

Le tea Hami Melon Soda:
Natural Hami melon juice with soda but not too fizzy with natural Hami melon fragrance without pigment.

Bah, it was for a limited time only.  Pepsi Throwback and Mtn Dew Throwback.  Wish they'd make it full time.

I don't know if you "Amarrkins" have Ricard's, but I bought a case of Ricard's White last week. Same premise, light with a citrus addition to it. I'm on the fence about it. Kinda taste weird.
NO MORE!!
