Power module for my Cabinet
« on: June 16, 2009, 01:37:00 pm »
Just a quick question:

I am finishing off my cabinet soon and I have a power module that I got from the back of an old powersupply. It has 3 .187 terminals on the back of it and I was wondering if there is any problem with cutting off the end to a power strip and connecting the + - GRND with .187 clips to the terminals.

I can take some pics later when I get home, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling.

Would this require heat shrink tubing for better safety? I'm not that great with electricity and to be honest it scares the crap out of me.
