Blue T-Molding
« on: June 09, 2009, 09:17:14 am »
Does the blue t-molding from T-Molding.com match blue Happ buttons and joysticks? I realize the pictures may not be accurate but it looks to dark to me.

of coarse they also have light blue which... looks to light

Anyone build a cab with blue t-molding and controls?

I am in the process of building my cabinet, still tweaking the control panel.  I wanted to go with a black and blue color theme.  I am using HAPP Blue buttons on the control panel and the light blue T-Molding from T-Molding.com.  The blues are very close but slightly different shades.  The HAPP buttons are darker than the light blue T-Molding.  It is hard to tell in pictures but if you look at my project link page you can see them both in the last post.

In a few pictures they do look very similar in color.  The best representation is the last picture of the cabinet, the one that shows Donkey Kong on the screen.  You can see that the buttons are a little darker than the T-Modling.

I ordered samples of a few colors from T-Molding.com before placing my order.  Neither the blue or the light blue match the Blue Happ buttons.  One is a little lighter and one is a little darker.  I thought that the light blue was a better way to go and am very happy with the way it looks.

Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for.

Your cabinet looks great and I will go with the light blue.

Glad to be of assistance.  Do you have a project page yet?
