What's great is that the writers/producers definitely didn't just decided to parody retro gamers off of common stereotypes (there's some of that though).  They definitely knew their material or had someone involved to pump them w/ info.

I liked him trying to cram the 32x adapter into his nomad.

Had a friend over last night and showed him all of the Talking Classics videos. That stuff is so damn funny. Scary thing is, we all know someone like this guy.

I love his commute to work at the beginning of the Sega Nomad video. ;D

I don't believe that this guy is for real.

I have to say this, because otherwise, I'll get smacked by my wife for laughing at him.

The first video I watched was the Neo Geo one. I thought it was real until I reached the Virtual Boy segment. That was all I had to see to know for sure it wasn't.

His real name is Nathan Barnatt and he's an actor.

Yeah.  Just finished #3.  I feel pretty stupid for buying this for the first few minutes.  Still pretty funny though.

"...they can't touch me, they can't touch me...."  Suddenly reminds me of Rocky.

Seriously. I don't.

Yeah, it obviously ain't real. That dude has some gag prosthesis in his mouth...or he's just good at that kind of thing.

I tried watching the vid the OP posted (Neo Geo). Not all that funny. Could have been...but isn't. Probably the lame speech impediment gimmick.

That's part of what's supposed to be funny. It's that over-the-top-ness. I didn't think it was really funny, either, but I can see how some might.
