LCD Blur

I don't understand the blurring argument, since if there is blur, I've never noticed any (on my 5ms monitor at 1440x900@60, or on my TV - 1080i@60 5ms)

I'd be willing to test any LCD that someone thinks doesn't blur. Just tell me the brand and model number.

It's not that I'm saying it doesn't blur, it's just that I've never noticed it, so it's not a problem. On older LCD monitors, I've noticed it, but on my work monitor, my home monitor, and my TV, I don't see any.

I saw ghosting on a Samsung P914 or something like that, back a few years ago. It also had the 'watercolor' look. Of course I didn't dig that. Now recently, I've been messing with this (curiously, older, say a few years old) laptop I, um, acquired....and except for the horrible viewing angles (and the ever-present back-lighting 'sheen'), I was hard-pressed to see blur. It looked good. Not the same as a CRT's neon-oil paint-like goodness, but very decent in general graphics presentation. Maybe the size, 14-15", has something to do with it? And given the sort of 'over-brightness' of the technology, scanline effects have less affect on the color quality of the image. But I still couldn't go with it.
