I bought mine from coinopstore.com $600 shipped. Got my machine in a week very well wrapped.
It's a Astro City cabinet, jamma wired with a 29 inch monitor.
I have it running a 1 slot Neo board with the 100 in 1 cart. Works great
You can contact him at: sales@coinopstore.com
Tell him AlexC sent you for that price.

Here are some pics:

What are those 100 in 1 MVS carts like? How similar are the games to genuine carts? They seem like a bargain if they are decent.

I like the cart a lot. No wait to boot, the games play like the originals, some of the games do have some sounds glitches here and there but for the price and ease of setup I can live with that.
As far the cabinet, it just needs a good  cleanup and re paint on some of the front pieces, no big deal.

I believe it's for the US lower 48. He's out of California and mine was shipped to Houston, TX.

Well i acually went on vacation to FL to go to disney world and before i left i was talking to a guy with a candy cab, trying to get him to send me pics of it. Anyways he did while i was in the middle of vacation so i ask were he is located, he tells me FL and its on my way home back to GA so i had to get it. Ill get some pics up of it soon, but it needed some parts repainted but other than that its good.

Nice serendipity, there. I'm somewhat familiar with that.

$600 shipped is pretty great, I think, for an Astro City. I might think about that...although I REALLY should've grabbed srabelpawz's Cyberlead, recently.

WTF are you on about?  ???

Why wouldn't you want to put a 360 in a candy cab? Adding a 360 to it only increases its flexibility. A 360 looks great though VGA and its the easiest and most economic way to get a SF4 setup in a propper cab without a HD Vewlix or whatever.

Anyway...

Your Blast City looks lovely. They are one of my favourite cabs. I have two Naomi Net Citys myself and I was considering selling them both to get a Blast City with a tri-sync instead.

It looks like you got it for a good price too. The Blast City I was looking at is £650 (~$900)

Is yours tri-sync or 31khz? Have you got a DC connected to it? If not then its a must. They look great though VGA and there are some awesome cab friendly games too.

I have my DC and 360 connected to one of mine though a VGA switch box. I just have to flick the switch and swap over a couple of AMP connectors and its good to go. I've just taken the 31khz monitor out of the other Net City and installed a  29" 15khz monitor to use for Jamma/MVS etc, Mame and Saturn.

A console in an arcade machine is COMPLETELY pointless.

Seriously? Its not like putting a console in stops you from playing the original Jamma/JVS etc games. I really don't get your point.

I suppose its pointless playing emulated games (console or otherwsie) in an arcade cabinet too then?

Also, it's worth pointing out that the Dreamcast was based on Naomi hardware. Most DC ports are almost arcade perfect.

Indeed they are.

Plus if you are running at 31khz with a VGA box you can play DC gun games which are awesome on a 29" screen :)

I'm saying why bother sticking a 360 in a cab, its fine the way it is. Mame is completely different as the games were meant to be played in an arcade cabinet.

well because it's awesome to have SF4 in an arcade cabinet, and there are a lot of other games that work great on the 360 in a cabinet.  like ikaruga, splosion man, mtg works ok, and others.

Nice find, someday I hope to have my own candy cab....I noticed you were waiting on KoF XII, it's been released already but if I were you I would wait until they fix the Lag issues IT'S TERRIBLE. Aside from that the game is pretty good, and I enjoy that more than SFIV

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah i dont understand what they are wanting me to do, do you really want me to drop a couple grand so i can play only SF4 in my cabinet, have no online play, and miss out on the extra characters and costumes? I mean i can remove the xbox in about 5 minutres so its not a big deal and i didnt harm the cabinet any while installing it so i cant find a problem.

But yeah i bought that KOF the day it came out, online sucks your right. But still fun game...

I think the person is lamenting that it's being used only for the xbox. I identify only because I don't do consoles or newer/new games - but, essentially, a game system is a game system is a game system.
