Connecting Optical Rotary Assembly to Opti-Pac.
« on: May 26, 2009, 09:45:44 pm »
I am nearly done with my control panel.  All I have left is to connect the optical assembly on the bottom of my Happ optical rotary stick to my Opti-Pac.  I was wondering about the best way to do this.  The stick comes with a very short cable that ends in a small 3/8" 4 pin connection.  It's basically the same size as a floppy drive 4-pin connection.  I thought about using an old floppy cable, but it still might not reach.

Any other ideas?  Would wire-wrapping work well?  Could I snip the cables and splice them?  Is there a better cable out there I haven't found yet?  What have you guys with rotary sticks done?
