I am stumped

I just went to play a little Simpsons as I've done a lot recently and the game keeps crashing. I can start the game and pick a player but once the cut scene starts on the street, it crashes back to MAMEwah. I tried it command line and there was an exception error. Any ideas what's causing this? I rebooted, shut background progs off, tried Mamewah, command line....

please help. I wouldn't really care if it wasn't one of my favorite games.

Simpsons is broken in 070. Get MAME 071 or go back to 069.
