Boxart Sets
« on: May 14, 2009, 02:47:45 am »
Hi everyone, I've almost finished all the construction of my cabinet, just waiting to make enough extra cash to buy a few more controls.
But anyways I'm setting up Mala and everything is working great, but I'm finding a shortage of boxart sets for a lot of systems.  I've got the NES and SNES set with some of the layouts off the Mala site and it shows the Boxart and the snap which is working great.  I can't find any box sets for any of the Sega stuff though, primarily Genesis and Master System.
I've found screenshots archive, which is great but they must be having problems with the site right now because half of the time the page takes 2 tries to load and anything downloaded from them is short.  Which is a shame cause he's got so much great stuff on there.
I got my NES and SNES and some Turbografx stuff from Emumovies.com.  But he doesnt have any Sega stuff uploaded yet.    I found another site that was great for snaps.  http://no-intro.dlgsoftware.net/main.php?lang=1   They are named in CRC format, so you have to use his tool with a DAT file you can download from him and it renames them to the normal filenames.
But my main question is where anybody has found Boxart sets, specifically right now Genesis and Master System.         Thanks alot for any help guys.

I have nearly all the Genesis (some may be Master System if I couldn't find the Genesis scan) box scans on my system, but I couldn't tell you where I got them all from.  I think I just kept browsing around and piecing my collection together from various locations.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/genesis/ has a bunch of box art you have to download individually, which stinks.

I could probably find a way to upload them to a site where you could grab them if you want.  they are all in the Good Tools naming format, BTW.
