help with y axis
« on: May 10, 2009, 02:49:28 am »
Greetings all! I'm perfectly new to the forum.

Recently, i purchased a PC steering wheel, it's branded here as U-Tech but i did a search on the net and it's branded as Gembird in other countries.

Anyways, the problem is, by default, the foot pedals are set to buttons 3 & 4 and not to the Y axis. The manual says that it is possible to remap the foot pedal to the Y axis using the button relocation function. But i have no idea how to do it, nor does it say how to remap the pedals to the Y axis. I was able to remap the foot pedals to other buttons but not to the Y axis. I know it's possible because by accident, the gear stick suddenly remapped to the Y axis.

I have done an extensive research in the net and every search result is a language which i do not understand.

here is the manual of my unit, exactly the same appearance and buttons, except that min is wired and this is wireless: http://www.futuretronics.com.au/down...FUT-5010P3.pdf

the driver software is LS-USBMX1/2/3

just a thought, maybe it's possible to force Windows to see buttons 3 & 4 as +y and -y axis?

help!

thanks!
