Picked up a couple cabinets

Hey, new to the forum. I've had a mame cabinet for  a while now. And over the week end I picked up a couple jamma cabinets sort of at random. I had the money so why not. The games are Twin Eagle, and The Combatribes.  Any ideas on what they might have been before someone covered them in horrible black paint? If my pictures work that is...

This is my first jump into this sort of stuff, so I don't really know what I'm doing. I've been looking at a 60 in 1 jamma board on quarterarcade.com, because those are the kind of games I want to play(Dig Dug, DK, etc).

Since Twin Eagle is a jamma cabinet, and that's a jamma board, is it as simple as swaping the boards and turning it on? Or will I have to totaly rewire it or something? I don't know what I want to do with combatribes yet, but I think I will get bored of it. Thanks for any help.

I don't know on what they were before(sorry). But yeah all you do is plug in your Jamma pcb And it will play. The only thing you may need to do is add an extra button, but i'm not sure because i havent looked a any multiboards in a while. but you might not even have to do this...

Also, Just A itty bit of bit of advise....You may want a bigger monitor for your mame Cab.

Yeah, I had a 19" crt in it at one point, with a nice bezel, but it died on me so I put a monitor I had kicking around in it just so I could use it. It looks really dumb with the huge cabinet and the small monitor though. Not to mention the horrible black construction paper bezel haha. I've been trying to find a cheap(free) tv to put in it.

Thanks for the jamma help though. I was pretty sure thats how it works, but I figured I should double check before I start spending money.

If I were you, I would look at that Twin Eagle as a prime candidate for a 48-in-1 or 60-in-1. You would have a nice cabinet playing the vertical classics with very little work.
