Quick Question about Serial PC Peripherals...
«

I'm getting a Supergun with Neo Geo joystick ports. These are 15pin but female. I have 2 PC peripherals that have 15 pin (serial) but are male... if I purchase a gender changer (if there is one) will these work on the Supergun?
Cheers!

It depends on what you are attaching. Supergun ports are not really serial they just use a serial connector. So if the PC peripheral is serial it will not work if it is a compatible gamepad for superguns such as a neogeo gamepad it will work. Only a very few console type gamepads like the neogeo or ones wired specifically for superguns will work.

Ah, okay, cheers Bob! I thought that would probably be the answer!
It's not a problem as I have AES sticks anyway, just thought it could interesting trying to get a Yoke or Steering wheel to work - probably a bit too ambitious though, I think!
