Admin buttons?
« on: April 29, 2009, 07:02:28 pm »
I wired up 2 buttons on my new control panel below my trackball. The thinking was that I could somehow use them as right and left mouse buttons so I wouldn't have to use my keyboard/mouse drawer as much. What's the best solution for remapping gamepad controls to mouse clicks? I'm using a GPWiz32 controller and I'd like these two buttons to function like typical mouse buttons if possible.

Doesn't the GPWiz include mouse inputs? I know the i-pac family doesn't but I'm sure the Wiz does. Bear in mind that the emulators etc. you use will have to support mouse button inputs as control keys if you want to use them on other platforms.

what are you using to interface your trackball to your PC? often the trackball interface will support mouse buttons.

Thanks everyone. I wound up using RBJoy to remap button inputs from my GPWiz to Right mouse and Left mouse. It works pretty well!
