Sansui DTV 2760...questions

I have decided on the Sansui DTV 2760 for the cab...  My question...

Has anyone used this TV for their cab...if so....which vid card did you use...

I see a lot of threads on the 640x whatever reolution...  What would be the reason to use that res....I am using Maximus, so I have all the mame side art , bezels and etc...  I would probably keep these on...  MAN...there is so much to know...  Sears has this TV on sale for $20.00 off this week, so I could get it for $215.99.  Thanx all for your help...

Another question...Ok...Defenetly getting this TV, but the cab is about 1/2" too big...  MY arcade cab is 25" and the TV is 25.6.  SO....should I rebuild the cab, at least the top half...  I am using UAII plans for the build, or should I take the case off the TV.  Which would be easier and safer...etc..etc...  I have a friend that is a TV repair dude, so he could probably discharge the TV for me...  Thanx all for your help

if ur "TV repair dude/friend" is any good .  then enlicit his assistance .
then you would not need to worry about any safety issues .
if he will allow u to observe the process, it may be a learning opportunity....

i am a "TV repair dude " whom added arcade related servicing -  had to diversify a bit
