Software problem
« on: April 27, 2009, 08:56:36 am »
Hi, the reason I signed up is my grandsons went together with a so called friend to build a system.  Well the friend seems to have messed up the software?  They are not friends now but we would like to get the system up and working.

I have been given the task of trying to figure it out.

As the arcade is starting to load we get the message "The front end encountered an error: Script run-time error; handler not found in object."  Is some part of the software missing, or is their some way to do an update to fix the problem?  We have a new Windows Vista computer.

I have never had any experience with this so simple is better for me.  I will soon be 65 years young but do enjoy messing with computers.

Thanks so much;
Joe Brooks

Welcome ,
  I'm sure someone here will be able to help you and your grandson . I don't know a lot about Front ends and emulators but , I maybe able to point you in the right direction . What front end are you using?
