I ment if he got it working and sold it together instead of piecing it out.  (I haven't seen any go for less then 1000 bucks in ages... Especially with decent artwork... But I haven't been to an arcade auction since the downturn)

You can not get anything like $1000 for an empty Star Wars cabinet.   :dizzy:

I will be taking the boards out of the cage for some close up shots for everyone to see.  As I learn more about these parts I will post the info.  I just learned about a green board that is covering the opening of the cage with the two rectangular connectors from the wire harness.  My machine was working with the wire harness connectors connecting directly to the two boards in the cage.  thanks,  gk

That's probably the RF board... totally optional.  I think it had to do with radio interferance compliance but not necessarily game functionality.  Taking it out removes a point of failure but if the gov't ever finds out you may or may not end up in Turkish prison or in a gladiator movie.

Yeah WG so I'm not vulture-ing anymore.

O, and I'd prefer a Turkish prison above Guantánamo Bay any day.........................
O and my Irish cockpit didn't come with an RF board..... :D

Wire Harness with the fan            $35 min offer
Wire Harness with the two connectors for the boards   $40 min offer
Power Brick with black cover            $30 min offer
Metal Cage               $20 min offer
Black Bezel               $10 min offer
PCB boards (all 3 boards inside the cage + interconnect)$175 min offer
Audio Power Board on outside of metal cage      $35 min offer

Send me your offers - I assume your first offer is your best offer.  If you want to know if your offer was beat let me know, I will not be pm'ing beat offers back to you unless you tell me you want to know.

I'm not looking to do an auction here, if I wanted that this stuff would be on fleebay.  Just send me your best offer and I'll most likely take it.

Shipping is additional.  I will package very carefully.  I offer USPS shipping, priority mail or parcel post, you can choose.  Delivery confirmation will be required.  Insurance is optional if you want it.  I will not overcharge on ANY shipping, exact is what you will have to pay + $1.50 for all boxes and bubble wrap.

also thanks to all who actually were helpful to me,

Just to be clear here... you are not looking to do an auction, but we are supposed to send you our best offer (cough-bid-cough) privately, as long as it is more than your min offer (cough-reserve-cough). Then you will take the best highest offer without letting the rest of the bidders "offerers" know they were out-offered?

At least "fleebay" (as you put it) notifies bidders when they are out-bid. cough-auction-cough.

Man, I should get this cough checked out.

I requested a mod to chime in on auction styled B/S/T listings. The general forum population frowns on it, and it became a very heated subject once at KLOV. I felt it would be proper for the mods to nip the brewing storm in the bud with an official ruling before it got out of hand.

It's not an auction.  If you actually are interested, make me an offer and I'll most likely take it.  I'll be ending this tonight.   You want to know what people are offering?   the minimum price is what I have been offered or told I should fetch for the part.  I'm only going back to people who ask me to and I am not planing to have a bidding war.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.... you may not have INTENDED to not have a bidding war... but when it comes down to it, that is most likely going to be the result. And you only have to answer as you see fit on whether or not you have bidders. Be gone.....

Man you are retarded! The artwork can be had repro'd for a descent price. As someone has stated already, you could sell that cabinet and make a mame cabinet.

That is what I"m doing, albeit with a MK2 cab..... I bought a converted MK2 cab that had a Soul Calibur 3 in it..... I'm selling the Jamma Equipment for damn near what I paid for the cab and it has a working 25" monitor!

Of course, talking to you is like pissing in the wind... all I am doing is getting soiled....

That's enough with the harassment.  Good for you on the MK2 cab, hope it turns out nice.  If I wanted to sell it I would have.

I was showing that one more to show you that if you had kept yours original it would be worth at least that.

That one is overpriced IMHO and they never even bothered fitting repo artwork on the yoke.

What kind of monitor is in that thing?  Wonder if they used the standard sidewinder yoke hack as well.  Hard to see in those pics.

Very true! If you did choose to hang out here, learn some stuff, shoot the breeze etc - then all would eventually be water under the bridge. We all start off in this hobby with some sort of abomination...or at least plans for one.
Your choice though. I don't really care either way.

Real question (not too dumb...) - I lost the keys to the coin doors on my SW machine.  Are the lock and key set easily replaceable?  OR do you guys just get keys made - what are my options?  Real answers please  ???
