MiniPac - How to assign shift key? [SOLVED!]
« on: April 14, 2009, 01:01:16 pm »
Hey guys,

Does anyone know how I assign the shift function to a switch/port on the MiniPAC? By default it is assigned to (physical switch) 1PSTART, but I have wired my panel differently and I would therefore like to assign the shift function to another switch (e.g. P2SW5).

I have tried using both the WinIpac IPD util and the text-util, but I can't see how or where I assign a new shift-key (other than the default 1PSTART switch). Can anyone help me out here? :) Thanks in advance.

Sure. If you go to the table view, the shift key is shown at the top in a yellow box.

Just click and re-assign by clicking on an already-assigned button on the table.

 :)

Ah! So I click the yellow shift-box, then I click one of the switches on the table and not on the physical control panel (buttons)? Thanks a lot, I will try that out right now. :)
