hey guys, i recently started looking into the topgun units and was pleasantly suprised that they were much less expensive than i had originally thought. i would like guns in my cabinet, which uses a 19" LCD monitor....but what would be really awesome is to have guns that would work on my PS2 that is connected to my DLP Projector and played on a 102" 16:9 screen. i have emailed the topgun support people asking a few questions, but they said that on a screen that big, i'd have to mount the led bars on the surface of the screen, in the middle of the image...which pretty much sucks. i see that they have a upgraded set of led bars called the Blaze Stand II, which is supposed to be for large screens, up to 120"...i sent another email to try to clarify if these would eliminate the need for mounting them in the middle of the screen.
i figured that i could put them on the top and bottom of the screen, and as long as i stand 2 to 3 times the height of the screen away, it should work fine. (according to their documentation). that is why i figured i'd go with the RF guns, because the cord wouldn't be long enough on the other ones.
have any of you guys used these guns on a screen this large? if so, did they work well? did you do it without mounting the led bars in the middle of the screen?
