Log for launching other emulators?

I am having a hard time getting some other emulators set up correctly. I know the emulators/ROMs are working, because I can launch the emulator and open the ROM file directly. But when I try to launch it from MaLa it is not sending the correct command.

I know the problem is with the command to launch the emulator, but I cannot see what MaLa is actually sending to trouble-shoot. I have tried ticking the "Enable Log" checkbox in the MaLa Help screen, but I can't find any information being logged when a game is launched. I have also selected the "Normal" option for viewing the emulator screen (instead of Minimized or Hidden), but I can't see the screen to see what command is being sent.

Is there a way to log or capture what is being sent from MaLa?

Which emulators are you having problems with?

All of them (so far, Stella, Nestopia and SNES). I am sure it is something simple, but without seeing what MaLa is sending to the emulator, I can't figure out what to change.
