Removing Stickers from the sides?
« on: April 04, 2009, 09:47:31 am »
My cabinet came with 12"x18" shield shaped Tecmo sticker that I'd like to try and get off.  Every time I try to peel it off, it just brakes off in little flakes.  Is there an easy way to remove a 20 year old sticker from painted wood?

Heat gun, or if you don't have that, a hair dryer.

I used a hair dryer and a flathead screwdriver.  Once the sticker was off I used goo gone to remove the glue.  It took a while but the results were worth it.

HERE is a more detailed explanation.  Don't forget to wear gloves.
