Freebox (E-Touch) ActiveX Error
« on: March 26, 2009, 10:55:33 am »
Hello All,

Since the E-Touch - Freebox Site and forum is down again, I have an issue.

When I try to run the Configurator

I get an error that says 'Runtime Error '429': ActiveX Component can't Create object' ???

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Fordman

What are you exactly trying to do? Do you get the error on launching, or when trying to perform a specific function?

I'm trying to add music to my library with the configurator. I tap the 'Generate Library' Button, it finds what I want to add, the I tap 'OK' then that is where I get the error.

Hope that helps,

Ok so you are using generate DB. Is this on a fresh install, also what version are you running. You might be better off mailing me as i will probably need a couple of screenshots. Are you trying to resize covers? It just seems odd you are getting an active X error from the config.

Actually searching that error on google seems to indicate you may have a missing file or a different version than freebox is expecting to find.
