Am I doing this right?
« on: March 24, 2009, 11:55:28 am »
Can anyone point me in the right direction or repost the link for lining up the artwork with the holes. I am using photoshop and my artwork is at 95ppi. My holes are configured to one of the slagcoin templates. My only problem is how to get my artwork in the background of the slagcoin template? Would I size the slagcoin template to my dimensions needed then move the artwork over to the template and set it as a background layer? As you can see I kind of got the concept down but just wanted to confirm with you guys I am doing this right?

You basically have to learn to work with layers if you want to work "under" a template.  Take your template and make a transparent layer so that only the lines of the template are visible.  Then create a new layer and place it beneath your template layer to create your layout with.

One other thing.  I would work in 300dpi for best output.
