I just got mala...Any quick pointers?

Well I got mala 1.05(think thats it) and I was wondering if anyone has some general good tips for me to try. What are good emulators that work with it besides mame? Can you run music for it? ECT...I'm hopeless. But anyone got any good tips or great ideas?

You may want to spend some time in the MaLa subforum on this site.

and use the wiki for setup. Dungbeetle has a setup, too, that's on the forums here somewhere. The wiki has a great basic setup walkthrough and then advanced stuff. I found setup to be easy but the wiki helps if something doesn't strike you as intuitive. (the update game list thing threw me off) Also, make sure you get the gamelist editor from the mala set and maybe a layout if you want to add one. The gamelist updater lets you edit game lists within Mala, which is very sweet. The subforum is watched closely and you'll get answers fast.

I second the wiki. It was incredibly helpful when I set up Mala.
