Future Pinball/Soft 15khz/Video Card Help
« on: March 19, 2009, 02:17:12 am »
Hello, can anyone point me in the direction of a decent video card in the $100 or less range that will work for both future pinball and soft 15khz (as well as MAME/console emulators, etc)? I have an Nvidia GeForce 8300 GS that works great on my desktop for future pinball but won't work with soft 15khz. On my MAME computer right now I just have some low end card that came with it which won't work with soft 15khz and lags terribly bad with future pinball. Just looking for a good all around card that will hook to my NEC XM29 Plus with VGA. Thanks!

I will update this with a more straight forward question... Will the ArcadeVGA card support future pinball without lagging? I checked the ultimarc site and searched around here and couldn't find a definitive answer. Thanks!

You might look over at the VP/FP forums and ask what cards in the price range work good, then check in the soft15 .de forum.

My Arcade VGA2 (PCIe version) runs perfectly with it.

The geforce 8 series will now work with soft15, though, with a dongle.
