  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
optical sensor board
« on: March 16, 2009, 03:13:13 am »
Hey all, I am reworking my arcade to include both a spinner and trackball, I am using the optipac to do this and have a happ trackball and tornado spinner with ps2/usb.  I was able to connect the trackball easily however am having trouble figuring out how the spinner is set up, through looking at sites online it looks as though I will have to build my own optical sensor board but have no experience with this sort of task.  Has anyone here done that or have any advice/info to share... I found the following websites but the directions unfortunately seem to be over my head.  If anyone knows anyone selling such a product I would be super enthused, thanks again, Karen j.

Your spinner should already have them but if they are missing try here.
