Trying to get the Nlite xp-mame going. Help!

Hi guys I was going through the sticky thread up above and found all of the spystyle/craig stuff on creating a mame-xp from nlite.  But I can't download any files in that thread.  He also posted a link to a walkthrough that looks like it points back to this website but I get a 404 error. http://spystyle.arcadecontrols.com/062/index71.htm

Some help getting this going would be much appreciated.

It's been a while since I've read the thread, but all you really need to download is nlite.  The just use your xp disc.  I'd also download the update package from the ryanvm website to update XP at the same time.

Yeah I have played with nlite but Spystyle created lastsession.ini that stripped basically the everything out of xp so you could run mame and mala.  I could get there myself but we are probably talking a couple hours or more of trail and error.  I figured if somebody has already done all that foot work might as well use it.  I'm sure there will be other that can use it later too.

Sorry for the late response. My last session.ini is attached in this thread.

The only thing is after you install it make sure you enable Logical Disk Manager (start> run> Services.msc> Logical Disk Manager> Automatic) In case you want to install additional hard drives after your initial install.

Well I just tried to download and still get an error same one I was getting in the other thread.  Could somebody else try it I have tried in IE and Firefox at home and work so unless my account here is messed up I don't know whats wrong.

It works for me. Another thing you could do is copy everything inside this window and save it as Last Session.ini.

It works for me. Another thing you could do is copy everything inside this window and save it as Last Session.ini.

Alright thanks for doing that for me I will have to figure out why I can't seem to download anything.

You're right. Using IE7 and the latest version of Firefox I can't download the file.  I get an error message with Firefox and a "cannot connect to the website error with IE. The reason it was working for me earlier is because i'm using Opera. With Opera  I can download the attachments just fine.
