What are good tools to use.....?
« on: March 14, 2009, 09:05:55 am »
What tools should I use to cut out a coin door hole?  Finished plywood 3/4".
I tried a jigsaw but I was bouncing off the plywood.  I'm obviously not a handyman.
Making a pin cab for vp and fp cab.

Thanks.

Tom.

If your jigsaw is bouncing you may not have the proper blade in it or are not holding it down correctly.   Make sure you have a good sharp wood cutting blade in it.  Also it is a good idea to drill pilot holes at the corners to make it easier to start the cut.

Jigsaw Worked good!  I actually made  a 3/4" circle with a drill to get me started.  Thanks for the tip Bob.
