I had thought about a 64bit version of MAME, but since I doubt I will be able to find 64bit XP drivers for some of my components (video card, chipset) I will likely stay with 32bit for my testing.
I will dropping this mobo into my mame cab with a completely hidden windows environment shelled to Mala, and AFAIK XP is the only way to go for that, unless someone has figured out a good way to achieve the same result with win7. In that case I'll happily start benchmarking in the Win7 64bit environment with a 64bit build of MAME. But since it doesn't suit my needs, I'll be benching 32bit.
I'll see if I can get 64bit XP Pro playing happy on a spare hard drive I have. If I can, then I'll image the drive and move it over to the Solid State drive I'm using in my test rig.
