My Marquee and Mini Review on Mame Marquees

My Marquee and Mini Review on Mame Marquees

So I got my marquee printed and wanted to share it with the rest of you. I had a friend (same person who did my CP, thanks Ryan!!!) design it and then sent it off to Mame Marquee to have it printed. I had another friend print my CP overlay but was not sure if he could print on the plastic type media that MM offers so I did not even bother to ask.

Ordering from MM was very simple, tell them what size you want, pay and then you can upload you marquee via there site… Easy. My marquee file was over 30 megs, upload with no issues at all the first time.

Shipping and service was fast.
Overall Quality is good, I went with the Ultimate and have no regrets but nothing to compare it to meaning I am not sure how it stacks up against the Premium. Print quality looks good overall.

I did have to trim mine ever so slightly but it was really no big deal and I would much rather it be a little on the big side than not big enough so they may even do this as a safety measure.

I would say the only downfall of MM is communication, there is none. I asked them questions prior to and at the time of purchase never to have my questions answered. Thank goodness everything turned out ok as I don’t think I would want to deal with them if there was a problem.

Overall I am very happy, so check it out!

Ps. My build thread…

Basic, but effective. Nice design and the quality looks good.

That's turned out pretty good VQ.  Looks great.  Nice to see her come together very nicely.

Thanks...

I'm happy with it overall; really if I could take anything back it would be the logo off of the CP. It just looks out of place with the bigger one on the marquee. I think it takes a little bit away from it but that is me nit picking.

Sometimes too much can be better than too little in the case of the CP logo. What can I say; I am my own worst critic sometimes. =/

Scott at mamemarques provided great customer service! I'm surprised you didn't get better communication.
My old user name was marlborroman13, but I kicked the habit many years ago!

shrug… Yeah I don’t know, it is my only complaint really. I mean I would order from him again as he did a great job but for me and my experience, the communication was just not there.

In fact I contacted him sometime back about art design prior to my order and never heard back from him then, it almost made me not want to order this time. =/
