how to adjust sound level in mame ?

I don't understand that  ??? I have standard mame keys

Hard to tell what's different in your pic. My - and = keys are between the 0 and backspace. Check there! ;D

I think he's talking about the tilde or the "approximately" key or whatever it's called.  It types this: ~

This brings up the volume bar in MAME (after launching a game). and you can use the arrow keys to increase or decrease the volume.

If you have that keyboard, you probably use Mame OSX  and in that case volume is adjusted with system keys only. The MAME volume does not work.

I don't know if it came through clearly but I got it working...it had another sign on the keyboard but it worked  :cheers:
