MALA not recognizing one joystick input, sort of....
« on: March 01, 2009, 05:47:28 pm »
I recently enabled the joystick for scrolling/starting/changing emulators in MALA and I'm using an N64 controller so I can play SNES, NES, Genesis and N64 games with a controller.  (As an aside, the N64 controller seems to have combined every controller before and implemented some new things.  Works great for all systems up to the PS2 dualshocks!)

Nonetheless, I assigned Joy1 buttons to various tasks, and they all work but one.  MALA sees the up and down on the digital thumbpad as Joy1-11 and Joy1-12 respectively and even highlight each when pushed in the "check" tab.  However, the gamelist is not recognizing the "down" (Joy1-12) when pushed.

MALA.ini has "24" assigned to that, which corresponds to the 24th option in the pull-down menus in the joystick tab.

Is this a bug or something more sinister?  If anyone has any help or maybe a similar problem with a fix, I'd certainly appreciate it.  (For the record, I've assigned a different button temporarily to "scroll down 1" and it works, so it's just an issue with Joy1-12).

THANKS!
