I'm trying to put the final touches on my Cocktail cabinet... It's dedicated to only vertical games, like mentioned in subject line... only classic "hits" .... To reproduce  the original arcade games to the best ability, is there any website, or info around for settings, best monitor or closest one for cocktail, as well as frontend to use?

I want to keep it simple, yet reproduce these classic hits as best I can.. I know at one point, there was some "samples" needed for mame to playback from original recordings.. etc.

Anyhow, any help or path would help out!

Oh and another thing.. What ever happened to "Arcade-In-A-Box" older type units?  All I see on there site now is the spiffed up xbxo360, PS3 and more controllers.. Nothing like they originally started out with.

Bummer.. I wanted to buy one this year, as I know I have been out of the loop for a few years, but darn.
