MALA freezes when trying to remove a game from a game list

hey guys, i need a little help here with MALA.    i have the same problem in mala 1.04 and 1.05 (havent tried any older versions)

i am using u360 joysticks, all of my buttons are connected using the built in encoder on the sticks.  when i set a button for (remove game) in mala, it freezes when i try to use it.  i press the button, the menu pops up asking to confirm yes or no, but i cannot do anything then.  i have to open task manager and close MALA. 

is there anyway i can fix this?

have you tried removing the game by opening the menu (player 2 button)
picking game list and then remove game instead of assigning a button to remove.

yeah, that works fine...so does right-clicking and choosing remove
