Rockola 477 Max

I wonder if anyone can help me get my 477 max up and running again , When i turn the jukebox on the turntable moves for about 30 seconds then stops , The +32 Vdc led light #1 on the power supply goes off , I've taken all the plugs out of the motors to see if that would clear it but ...No joy! . I would appreciate any help on this

Have you followed the troubleshooting guide in the manual?

I just bought the jukebox and the manual that came with it was the one for the 478 Mystic so i didn't want to go throught the troubleshooter as it's a different model. Any idea's? . The selector arm is positioned as if its just about to play a record , the mechanism looks dry , The carousel does not turn when scan is selected. So any help would be appreciated

If the basket doen't move when you move the selector switch to scan then look for and press the mech circuit breaker on the control center. However be ready to move the selector switch to the middle position and to turn box off incase the mech jams which could broke a part or burn something up. I'll check the 477 manual I have against a 478. If there was any change would be cabinet type and mayb credit unit.

The turntable motor is controlled thru the play relay on the power supply. The actual contact is k1-3. The wires on each side of that are brown and red-green. There is a 1/4 amp slo-blo fuse on the red-green side. The turntable is 120 VAC.

About the 32 VDC problem:  the bridge recitifier consists of CR105 thru CR508, C102 1200uf cap, C104 and F102 2amp slo-blo. Check all these. Check all electrolytic caps for dryness and leakge while you have power supply open. The output wire of the rectifier filter section is brown-blue.

Im sorry i've taken so long in getting back to you as i've been ill,
I have checked all the electrolytic caps and other bits as you said but Still ther same problem
Do you think a new power supply would fix this or a new play relay?
