Mario Bros artwork colors

Hey guys,

I'm putting new life into a mistreated Mario Bros widebody machine.  My first cab was a Big Blue that someone had converted to Mortal Kombat at some point so all I did was build a new control panel, put an xbox in there and cleaned it up.  It came out really nice, but black and red aren't hard colors to match up.

For the Mario Bros cpo I found the smaller nintendo conversion version at localarcade.com.  I resized it to fit the widebody and rearranged the graphics so it looked more like the wide version.  Plus I've made room for a 6 button mame setep, but now that I'm almost done i think the colors look really off.  The vectorized cpo off of localarcade doesn't look to be the same colors as the bezels I've seen online.

So, I guess my question is for anyone with any experience with a mario bros; Is the file I've been working on even close?  Do the colors on the bezel even match the cpo on an original mario cab?

I'd like to order the bezel repro from mamemarquees and have them print my custom panel, but if the colors are all wrong its going to really bother me.  I plan on spending alot of time in front of this thing!  I've emailed them to see if they could give me the RGB color values from the bezel but haven't heard anything yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
