Lizard Lick / Canada customs
« on: February 13, 2009, 04:06:02 pm »
Hey is anyone here from Canada and has ordered from Lizardlick?

I'm just curious as to how canada customs treats japanese arcade parts. They've not been nice to me over imported electronics. I remember i bought a LED control device for $90 and got slammed with an extra $120 in tarrifs :O

There are recent posts about Canada shipping in the Lizard Lick thread on www.shoryuken.com. They are being shipped as spare parts/gift and the last few orders have had zero custom charges.

"Shipped, Feb 2, 2009 using usps first class international, to Winnipeg, MB. Canada.
White shipping label marked as "gift-spare parts for arcade machine".
No additional custom charges"
