Mortal Kombat II cabinet PCB mounting board
« on: February 10, 2009, 08:35:44 pm »
I have a Mortal Kombat II cabinet that is being converted to a MAME cabinet.  Looking into the cabinet from the back, there is a PCB mounting board on the left hand side.  Does anyone know if the mounting post are the same on it as for a computer motherboard?  I was thinking about mounting my motherboard on there but was not sure if it would have the same mounts.  Can anyone answer this and save me the time of taking my motherboard out of the case its in.

The location of the pcb feet, or whatever you use to mount your motherboard will be completely different from the mk2 board.

just move the feet to where you need them?
that board should come out making the mounting job that much easier.
